My first thoughts about getting the news of these chemicals being found in my body are horrifying. I do not even want to breathe because no matter how healthy I try to be there are still ways for me to ingest toxins unknowingly. This is in no way shape or form fair to those that are trying to be healthy.

CNN YouTube news special on "Body Burdens" of Potentially Toxic Chemicals with  Anderson Cooper.

After watching this video it is very surprising but not really surprising to know the amount of chemicals that could possibly be in our bodies. The alarming issue is the amount of chemicals found in children. Especially an 18 month old who has not even been on this earth long and has just started eating solids. One would think that babies do not get as much exposure as adults. I noticed that this video was posted in 2011 and I am not sure if I one of the few people that missed this but it really did not get a lot of attention. I even Googled Body Burdens and there is not a lot of current information regarding this topic. I think that if doctors automatically offered this test then people will probably make better environmental choices (at least things that they can control). It is pretty scary to see that a child as young as 18 months can have those high levels and it is also scary not knowing the effects of these toxins.

  1. I was shocked like you about the level of the amount of chemicals in the children, the problem is that our bodies are unable to eliminate and release of the toxins and we just accumulate toxins and chemicals in our bodies which will have harmful effect even after decades.
